Andrei was excellent. Never used a pre purchase mechanic before but they are worth every single penny. Andrei came to inspect a BMW for me and flagged some issues to me it was very clear the owner either didn’t understand the full history of the car or wasn’t telling me the truth about the car. Either way although my heart wanted the car I ended walking away from a potentially bad purchase and saved me a lot of money!

Andrei was really thorough and knowledgeable.
I’ve never used a pre-purchase service before - so I didn’t know what to expect. But after receiving the report and having a brief chat with andrei - I’m definitely not buying a vehicle again without getting it checked out here - and that was just the basic plan! Real value for money. Thank you. (Saved me from buying a heap)

I will just clarify my review-I booked for a diagnostic inspection and a car won’t start inspection-however the car did start when the mechanic arrived-so that part of the booking should have been refunded! (I booked originally as I was unsure if the car would start in the morning-due to the warning that flagged up on my dash board “no engine restart in 31 miles diesel exhaust fluid malfunction”

I have since taken my car to land rover who also did a full diagnostic-and there was actually some faulty wiring and a system update that needs to be done.

I’m not arguing the fact that you did the diagnostic and explained to me what you thought the problem was-I’m annoyed that you took payment for part of the job that you didn’t need to do.

I had also messaged Andrei privately to ask for a partial refund but have been ignored!

Do not book through this website-you have no control of money taken-once it’s on hold-the full amount (if they are not honest) can be claimed by the mechanic!

Great - A huge help even though I wasn’t around. Spent time going over everything.

Just ok. I was told by the seller that the test drive involved a very short distance up the road. Yet I paid for a proper road test! Also, I was supposed to be contacted by phone after the inspection. This never happened and I had to initiate the telephone conversation

Efficient and thorough about my prepurchase inspection. Explained all the issues and if they were common or uncommonly seen. Suggested me not to go for the car after discussing with me all the pros and cons.

Andrei arrived within the time slot and carried out the work quickly and efficiently (rear brake discs and pads).

I was delighted with Andrei 's knowledge..I have had my car into a local garage twice and both times they had not been able to identify what was wrong with my car.
Although Andrei, hasn't been able to fix my car, he has identified what the problem is.
I will now go back to ClickMechanic to see if an Engineer will be able to come out and fix my car.

Andrei carried out work on a van we we are looking to buy so we were not present. His communication and reports have been great and no complaints from the seller about him. He also accepted the requested time /day quickly which was ideal.
