Hi not sure if this feedback is relevant to mechanic or overall process, but it relates more to communication and expectation management. Car collected on Wednesday lunchtime. I had said on Monday that it wasn't drivable but pick up truck turned up with a battery that was flat (for his wynch) which delayed collection. He said i was unlikely to get back today (which i mistakenly took to mean i'd probably get back on Thursday!) Chased Thursday but no response. Eventually got back Friday evening. I accept it was a complex job and would probably have accepted that if i'd known at outset.

Very happy with the work and price , what let it down was the time factor what should have been a 4 or 5 day job took 2 weeks

Smiths Repair & MOT Ltd were fantastic. They pulled out all the stops to get my SEAT Altea through its MOT and then gave it a major service all in the same day. Time is precious to me as a self-employed person working from home. My car was collected by the company around lunch time and delivered back to me in the evening. Job done and no time wasting from my side!
