The Job: Full service & MOT, new brake pads and disks, replacement of driveshaft and head unit fitment.

Car collection booked for between 11h00 - 13h00 on a Friday, they arrived at 15h45 on a Friday, so no car for weekend, was told we can only get it back for Monday as the MOT test centre closes at 16h00 on a Friday. The options I was presented with by mechanic was they can either send for MOT test before 16h00 but if it fails they will have to keep it, as per Job posting, the need for new brake disks and pads, it would've probably failed the MOT, OR they can make a start on Friday and get it back to me for Monday. . . car eventually came back on Tuesday. Taking into consideration the full job posting of items that needs doing before a mechanic on the platform accepts a job, time taken to complete the job should be factored in when accepting the job.

When I got the car back, the issue still hadn't been resolved, I was then told they would have to come back to collect and take it back to see what it could be, their assumption was that its a faulty ABS senor (quoted around £200 to replace, and still cant guarantee that its the sensor that's the issue, I said yes, please, asap. After then driving the car, a rattling was heard and car not feeling right I decided not to let the mechanic take the car away again to try and "fix".

I have had to book the car into an established mechanic to now fix what should've been fixed previously, after getting a health check back today, turns out a couple of things came up. Firstly, brake pads and disks were fitted fine, but no grease/ lubricant applied to the brake calipers. Secondly the existing ABS sensor was not put back properly which resulted the rattling sound mentioned above. Hoping the car was at least serviced to a respectable standard! (Service book was not signed/ stamped though)

In all honesty, it goes without saying, I will not be using them again, as well as question whether I would ever use the platform for future bookings, its too much of a gamble and not worth the disruption. Read more

Faizan was great - he called to let me know when he was on his way and on his way back too. He was very friendly and polite - excellent to deal with. Not taking the car in myself meant I could work an extra couple of hours at home. A really good service which I will use again.

Not sure what I paid for really, £80 for driving my car around for 2 days and then offering no diagnostic information apart from what sounded like the results from a basic OBD scanner wasn't what I expected. I ddn't appreciate having to contact them for a status update when I Iheard nothing from them on the day diagnostic was supposed to have been completed either.

On the whole I've been left with no solution to my problem which is very disappointing and certainly not the outcome I expected.
