Ian was great he was very knowledgeable on my vehicle as he had previously built performance fords!

He showed me exactly what was wrong and was really polite and chatty.

This was a diagnostic visit.

Ian arrived very close to the start of the time slot.

The suspected fault was confirmed by a series of tests.

I have no problems with the quality of work or the attitude of the mechanic. It was a quick fix - the coolant levels were too low. He also did a diagnostic check to ensure there were no other problems. I didn't really need a mechanic but a Halfords employee doing a car check a couple of days before had told me the levels were fine. I will be discussing that with them! The only problem was that the mechanic came after 11.30am when the stated time was 9am to 11am. This caused me problems with my job. I know people get caught in traffic jams etc but a quick phone call to let me know he would be late would have been appreciated.

Originally booked Ian for Good Friday but couldn’t make it due to being stuck on another job so arranged for Wednesday. Diagnostic on the car was completed and I was informed what was potentially going on so I could take this information to a garage. Unfortunately the garage doing the follow up work next week for some reason doesn’t trust the diagnostic (they were pretty blunt about it) and I have to pay them for another, but this isn’t Ian’s fault though as he couldn’t really inspect my clutch on my driveway as it would involve taking half the engine bay out.
