Booked for Friday, turned up on Monday after there machanic phoned in sick (which couldn’t be helped ) but they did phone to explain, arrived Monday morning on time and collected the car at agreed time, had the car all day and brought it back with no problems, happy with the service and communication, went out that evening and got pulled over buy the police cause a headlight bulb was out, only to find that the headlight clip wasn’t put back on again.

Andrew is based in the Bristol area as part of a 4 man team of mechanics so was sent out to inspect a L3H3 Citroen Relay for me. I paid the extra £25 for a post inspection phone call which turned out to be a fantastic decision. A week before I'd had another mechanic go look at an L3H3 Ford Transit up near Birmingham and hadn't paid the extra £25 so was just left with the post inspection document which is good but very over simplified with just 4 ratings for each element: Poor/Fair/Good/Excellent. While this is useful at giving a general overview of a vehicle, it doesn't go into much depth if the rating is Poor/Fair/Good. If there is an issue with something you want to hear more about it from the mechanic, not just 1 brief sentence.
So after Andrew inspected the car he sent me the document and gave me a call. He was incredibly punctual with his call and very informative with everything that he'd seen. We were on the call for a solid 20 minutes and he was giving me an indepth review of everything. He went so in depth and was so confident with the quality of the van that I've ended up putting a deposit down. Picking it up in the next few days which is very exciting. Delighted with the service. Mechanic instantly new the problem and fixed it. Excellent.

Turned up at around 8.30am which was great as I'd booked a 8-10 slot . Took car away for service, although I'd requested the service at home as I needed to be sure I could get to work on time.
Not an issue as the car was returned in time. All ok, the only unexplained thing is that the car was returned with the service indicator reset at 12,500 and after my journey to work 26 miles away , the service indicator had dropped to 12,400. No real explanation as to why

The work was done satisfactorily, however on inspection the following morning I found a cracked rear light that could only have been done while it was with them.
I had been quoted £168 by Clickmechanic to replace an electric window regulator but after they had the car for 24hrs was emailed a second invoice for £228 for part and further labour with no explanation what it was for.Gerec had initially pre-authorised a charge on my card for £90 so in total paid £318, nowhere near £168,and the cost of a rear light cluster.
Not a happy customer.

Good service car picked up fixed and returned the same day, very friendly and proffessional

Gerec did a fantastic job of my pre-purchase inspection and were very helpful despite the dealership that I was purchasing the truck from not having the vehicle available when they had stated. Great service and would highly recommend them.

My first thoughts of Gerec was off putting as a arrangement for Sunday 7th to fix car, to be told that it could not be done that day as they do not have any staff o Sundays. So I had to rearrange for Monday.
Gerec arrived o time on the Monday and returned the car at the end of day. "Fixed". Unfortunately the following day the car had new problems to the clutch, it was slipping and smelt of burning oil.
I rang Gere and explained the issue, tk my surprise they were with me within 40 minutes collected the car and returned it at end of day explaining there suppliers sent a faulty part.
It has now been completed and I believe it to be good.
The Mechanic was very polite and friendly.
