Gerec were great, and I’ll be very happy to use them again. After their own diagnosis of the issues that were reported to me during a recent service they were able to save me over £200 on my original estimate. Everyone I spoke to from Gerec over the phone and in person was polite, professional and friendly. The car is running perfectly now and I couldn’t be happier with the work they did.

BMW 1 Series Major Service

Not happy with my recommended mechanic unfortunately, i had a crack in my intake pipe that was causing a boost leakage, that was repaired but the air intake box was not put back on properly. Secondly the didn’t notice the gasket on my rocker cover was on its way out and was then beginning to leak oil into my engine bay next to my turbo! They also didn’t notice the coolant leak going into my turbo, just needed 2 rubber O rings to fix but it was obvious and it wasn’t noticed. Another thing was my steering rack was starting to rattle(a common issue on bmws) they also didn’t notice that… finally my washer fluid was empty they didn’t even fill that? What am i paying for!! Finally my car was filled up with the wrong kind of coolant when it was handed over and they failed to notice and flush it and change it. To be honest i think they did the bare minimum and i paid for a major service i am utterly dissatisfied and i would like a refund. On the other hand the staff was rather friendly and kind. Read more
