The mechanic was extremely friendly and explained everything in detail. Unfortunately he was unable to fix the problem as the dpf is too far gone for a regeneration now. The mechanic was late but I did receive a call to advise that they would be. My slot was 12-2 but I didn't receive the call until 5 to 2. They arrived at 10 to 3. I think it is just unfortunate on this occasion that they were unable to complete a regeneration as the dpf must be irreparable now. I am disappointed to have paid full price, but understand that they did carry out what needed to be done.
