Happy with the mechanic (Craig) would definitely use again,was early and didn’t do any work that wasn’t needed.

I can highly recommend Craig. He was on time, friendly and helpful.
He actually diagnosed the problem as being less serious than originally thought. He could still have replaced the brake pads but said they were fine, which was honest of him.
He rectified the situation quickly and charged me half the originally quoted price.

I booked Craig to fix my son's car. He was on time. His changed the water pump and after fitting it was leaking coolant onto the road. Craig told my son the engine block would most likely be cracked and he would be better off scrapping the car, as it was too expensive a fix .

My son was unhappy with the way Craig had changed the gasket on the water pump and was unconvinced the block was cracked. He contacted Craig straight away, who agreed to return in 2 days and look at it again - which he duly did.
He discovered that my son was correct and the gasket was likely this issue, he then used gasket seal after discovering he had left a piece of the old gasket intact, which had caused the leak.

I was unhappy with the sloppy fix, but fair do's, Craig did what he could to rectify. However, someone less knowledgeable may have taken his advice and scrapped a perfectly useable car for little actual cost to fix. Read more
