Edgar was great rang to let me know when he was 10 mins away and got the job sorted and recommended what else should be done at later date

I was ill on the day the mechanic was due and had to ask my wife to hand over the car keys. The mechanics (there were 2) arrived as scheduled between 10 and 12am and took the car onto the road to carry out the full service which was fine. The mechanic was courteous when calling and asking for the car key. When they were finished they returned the key and said they were finished.
I expected something written down to say what they have done. In driving the car there is nothing noticably different. Like grease or oil around the door hinges or slight tightening of the hand brake. One of the handles on the nearside door this stuck out when opening the door, it still does.
This was a full service which I think needed a check list and after checking perhaps to say somethings were a bit worn, like brake pads, tyres etc.
If the mechanics do not provide a check list of what has been how can you tell if it was a minor or a full service. Is there a report I can get from the car, I dont know.

Edgar gave me a great overview of the car over the phone before i traveled over to the UK to purchase.
This made my trip over a lot less stressful as he was my eyes on the ground there. His attention to detail regarding the paint work was excellent & the full report came promptly by email.
After test driving it myself I would like the report to vary from "GOOD" (in working condition) for each item checked, Excellent would have been appropriate for this car for certain items i felt since it has less than 10k miles & is not yet one year old.
