Mario was here on time and was quick to get to the cause of the issue. Mario let me know what needed to be done, got it all sorted out and didn't mind me hanging around to watch and chew the fat. All in all a good experience and would recommend Mario to anyone in need of some motor expertise.

Paid for service plus flushing of something or other.
During first drive car flagged up as having low oil. This issue persisted despite numerous resets of the computer - done by me - (the car doesn't have a dipstick).
I was told not to add oil because it might be a computer fault & there was consequently a risk of over filling.
Told I needed to check how much oil was in it by draining & measuring. To do this I would have to pay for another oil change. Obviously I am not willing to do this as I've already paid for the service that caused the problem.
Anyway, car has no oil leaks etc. Long story short, I drained it and guess what.
.. there was not enough oil in it.
CM informed me they closed my complaint because the mechanic had come out a 2nd time & checked the car - untrue. Disappointing

Hi,

I'm sorry that you feel dissapointed with the service you received.

As discussed the day of the service, I was unable to get an oil level reading from the on board computer (which is the only way to get a reading as there is no dip stick). I did however explain that the correct amount of oil went in as per Audi specifications.
When you contacted me about the oil warning, you advised that you have been made aware of many people having the same issue with faulty level sensors by simply searching the internet. As for me advising not to top it up, I stand by the advise, as overfilling with engine with oil could cause major damage.
The only way to check the amount of oil in the engine (without a dip stick) is to drain it and measure it. I would not be willing to drain the oil and reuse the same oil due to risk of contamination, which is why I said the only solution is to change the oil again. You say you drained the oil and it was not enough, can I ask how much was drained? Read more
