Asked mechanic to stamp the service book said he'd done so but hadn't didn't turn off service light said it would not turn off took it to a garage they said it had been over filled with oil therefore oil light stayed on removed some oil turned off the light but said should get book signed by mechanic still not received answer from him

I was a little bit dubious when booking but I needn’t have worried. Great process all the way through. Mechanic was on time and very friendly and efficient. Will be using him in the future.

The booked slot was 2-4pm and I was just thinking that I might have been missed when the van pulled onto our drive at 15:55. The two mechanics explained that the previous job had over-run and then got straight onto mine. A set of replacement rear discs and pads were fitted in 20 mins.

The parts were Pagid as had been requested. My only disappointment was that the wheels were bolted back on using a power tool rather than a torque wrench. I appreciated that the team had another job to get to so decided to say nothing.

The need to be careful with my braking for the first 100 miles or so after fitting was clearly explained.

At the end of the day what is important is the final result. The ordering process was efficient and my requirements in terms of the parts to be used were met. The price I paid was a lot cheaper than it would have been at a franchise garage. My rear brakes no longer squeal and I've checked the security of the wheel bolts and they appear to be OK (sorry but we have had a bad experience with a car going to a regular tyre dealership where a power tool was used and the thread on two of the five wheel hub bolts was stripped - We weren't told at the time, we only found out later when I checked the bolts and found they turned freely). Work not done properly , fault is still there and there is no coolant in the coolant box , i came on weekend and after looking at my car I am shocked
