Work has been carried out superbly, didn’t meet the mechanic as I had the collect and return arrive for my vehicle.

The chap who collected the car was courteous and mindful of social distancing rules for anyone with concerns in the current times.

The car was due for collection between 8.00 and 10am, the driver arrived 11.45am, however they did call to say that they were running late due to the amount of business they had on that day.
Apart from that, the service/MOT and communication were excellent and would have no problem recommending ClickMechanic at all.

I didn't meet the mechanic but the driver who picked the car up and the owner of the garage were courteous and professional, and the latter returned some of my fee after I complained about some of the issues below.
The quality of one part of the work - a general service - was dismal: upon the car's return it was clear that no hinges had been greased, the windscreen fluid tank was empty, the tyres were at uneven and incorrect pressures, and two weeks on, the car has failed its MOT on a basic problem with the brakes which the MOT garage says should have been spotted in a general service.
I think this illustrates the problem of a one-off distant garage that has little interest in keeping you as a long-term customer.
For this reason I won't recommend ClickMechanic. Read more

Good afternoon David,
thank you for taking the time to review us, we are extremely sorry to hear of your experience on this occasion.

1. we carry out all servicing to extremely high standards, following industry standard checklists / procedures whilst following strict manufacturer guidelines.
2. we only use clear grease during our services, as the more visible 'white grease' is prone to trapping debris, whilst also looking unsightly upon opening doors.
3. unfortunately we cannot control certain environmental factors regarding Tyre pressures, as hot / cold weather or driving conditions as well as slow punctures can all fluctuate Tyre pressures once a vehicle has left our premises.

4. In regards to MOT test results - this is down to the test station/testers personal discretion in what they deem to a pass/fail. unfortunately we have no control over this.
Upon speaking to our business owner, you were given a 'Good Will Gesture' to an amount higher than initially asked for. out of good will.
we are extremely sorry that you feel our service was 'Dismal'
