EAST MIDLANDS AUTO was horrible. Gave wrong and rubbish check report, overpriced, windscreen washer claimed fixed not working at all...... Total waste of time and money. Never use again neither website or same mechanic left me out of pocket and still looking for another mechanic to fix

we are sorry to hear of your complaint in this instance, we believe there must be some confusion regarding your vehicles repairs.

After reviewing your vehicle summary, we can confirm the following.
1) your vehicle was in for brake pad renewal (front) & MOT / Interim service as chosen by you.
2) upon MOT (by an independent garage) not ourselves. It was noted that your rear pads also required renewing due not meeting requirements alongside your windscreen washers providing insufficient fluid.

Therefore these items require doing to ensure your vehicle is safe and operational for you and other road users.
all information can be found online as well as your certificate.

we always ensure we give options to our customers to help suit there needs / budget offering the most bespoke personalised 5 star customer service that we pride ourselves on.

we offered the option to replace the washer pump however we would try the cheapest option first to jet/ clean the washer pump therefore saving you money.

we did inform you this works 90% of the time however you may require a new washer pump should the fault re-occur.

All our works are covered by a 12 months parts & labor guarantee. we are more than happy to assist you as it is your right to this service. of course collection & delivery will also be free of charge along with a complimentary wash as standard, all part of our award winning service.

I didn’t meet the mechanic as my car was collected from home however I asked the mechanic to check an ongoing leak (separate issue to what my car was booked in for) which he did and subsequently called me to advise on the probable cause. The booked work was carried out efficiently and at a very reasonable price compared to that price quoted by the main dealer. I was able to amend my booking to include additional work and was given a revised quote before agreeing to go ahead with this. My car was even washed before it was returned to me. Overall an excellent and very satisfactory service!

Dean was friendly and professional.The car was collected and returned on time as arranged The car was washed and tyres blackened.It was returned with a plastic cover on the drivers seat and paper mats on the floor.
I would definitely recommend East Midlands Auto!
