Not happy at all. Work was not done and I had to look for another garage to do the same job. I was charged the full amount. I won’t click mechanic again.

Good Evening,
Having looked at your booking, you requested a DPF Regeneration to be carried out on your car. Clicking system works on 2 elements, 1 where customer asks for a specific work to be carried out and 2 where customers asks for the car to be checked and then work carried out.
Your booking clearly stated what work you would like us to carry out. Your appointment slot was 12 to 2 and the booking was completed within that time so we are not sure how our punctuality was poor at 3. Regarding the charge, you were clearly explained, DPF Regeneration process was carried out for exactly 1 hour 2 mins as pictures and timeline showed to you and uploaded on the booking.
Because of other element of DPF fault, though Regeneration was completed, your cars ECU has rejected the completion/success status towards the end. That doesn’t mean work wasn’t carried out as evidence was shown to you via timeline. It’s because your car has other issues.
It’s like if a customers gearbox is faulty and they request a Clutch replacement, after clutch replacement, gearbox doesn’t fix itself. Where possible if a repair wouldn’t resolve the issue and is apparent, we always inform the customer first. This wasn’t the case in your booking.
You had misdiagnosed and request a job that was carried out which isn’t ClickMechanic or the garages fault. We find this review unfair and will challenge it through ClickMechanic to have it removed and won’t be carrying out any work on your car.
