My 19 year old car was in for a service and MOT - I've not had it long so didn't really know the likely outcome. It failed but Bas called me, talked through the issues, likely outcomes and worst possible outcome. Great approach, happy with the work and would definitely use again.

I'll be honest they did was asked to do however they gave back the car with more noises than it went in with which I'm not happy with at all. When challenged they proceeded to point blame it on other parts which were not a problem before it went in which I find to be a strange coincidence as the go to noise they say is engine/gearbox mount. No responsibility taken on the fact that the work they've done could have caused other damages which I would of respected more and fixed it with them. Bas was a good lad to be fair and is a good talker and he did offer to have a look again but I don't think I'm going to go back given the damages caused. I thought mechanics in Manchester will help however I've been to 5 now and none have solved my issue. Read more

Dear Akram,
This review is beyond belief and unfair. Job was booked for strut mount replacement, when you arrived in the morning you said you have been advised to change the strut by another mechanic because of a knocking noise we didn’t diagnose this issue, we replaced the part that you booked the job in for.
We advised you clearly, we didn’t have time to check or diagnose the noise but happy to change the part if you wanted us to. You asked us to go ahead and changed the strut mount which we did. The whole job CCTV recording is present if needed. Your parts were returned to you.
There was still knocking which 2 of us went on a test drive with you and clear was from the left side, centre and from the right hand side too.
We showed you another suspension job we were carrying out and how it works and that noise is nowhere from the strut or the shock absorber holder bolt, this noise was there before and still exists as someone else misdiagnosed your car and we cannot be blamed for it or all the bad experiences you have had with other mechanics We carried out the work you requested.
It is extremely disappointing that we spent an hour going through the work and showing what has been completed and offered a free diagnostic too.
