I started in 1979 working at british road service and I stayed there for about 9 years doing a full apprenticeship and along the way receiving all my qualifications. After my apprenticeship ended I moved on to a company called Transfleet where I worked for about two years. I then went to work for Mercedes-Benz for about 6 years until I decided I was ready to manage a business on my own, so I went independent. I have been self-employed now for about 2 years, I own my own garage and have also started doing mobile mechanic work.
