Initial problems. Jonathon didn’t show up between 8.00 and 10.00 as per appointment. No reply when I tried his mobile number. CheckMechanic helpdesk promised to follow up. 11.30 Jonathan phoned - ‘delayed at earlier job - with you in 45 minutes’. 12.25 ClickMec helpdesk phoned back - not able to contact Jonathon. Told them he had phoned me and should be appearing any minute. 12.35, Jonathon phoned again - delay sourcing correct spark plugs. ‘ With you soon’.
14.40 arrived. Swift, competent job. Finished 15.20.

I cannot fault Jonathan for his standard of work or commitment to getting the job done. However the booking was scheduled for 13.00 to 15.00 on Friday but wasn't collected until 21.30 Friday night. I had to message to find out when or if he was coming. Once collected I again had to send a text on Sunday as I had heard nothing since my car was collected. A simple text or call to keep me in the loop would be better customer service, as I appreciate that his line of work is time consuming. Also would have allowed me to continue with other things I needed to do rather than waiting on the unknown.

I’m glad to hear your happy with your vehicle repair, bigger jobs that require pick up/drop off can be more time consuming, Fridays collection as discussed via telephone was to be an all day collection with however a time slot on the system has to be made, your vehicle was returned on Sunday as agreed.
