Ian is a top bloke and would recommend him in a heartbeat, I'd had service at the garage where I bought the car 12 months ago who quoted just under £500 for rear pads and discs. Ian picked up my car, only needed pads so cost me less than a quarter of the price they quoted. You have a very satisfied customer and one who will turn to you every time.

MINI Mini Service rear brakes
Renew front discs and pads
Remove dpf additive container. had to cut through bolt as it was siezed, this saved buying new fuel tank and additive tank. Bag persihed so can't be filled. Replace additive bag and refit container using new bolts.

although there were issues with the sourcing of the part required (i rang Saturday for an auto electrician) Ian was exemplary constantly on the phone with updates, when things were set he arrived at the specified time and did the job to what I can only describe as first class, a polite and courteous, a credit to Gordons.

Time has passed by with Gordon's Autos (Southern) collecting customers in Southampton, Cambridge and Camberley during various stages of my Army career. My Wife and I have settled down to live in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It is from here that Gordon's Autos will create another collection of customers and continue a family tradition of vehicle maintenance at affordable prices for the new and not so new vehicles.
My son having completed his apprenticeship in the garage is now driving HGVs and a second apprentice who completed his training moved to a Volvo main agents. I had tried to retire and put my feet up but, the garage is now full steam ahead again having taken on my 3rd Apprentice. I will be running the garage for at least another 3 years while my new apprentice learns her trade. Yes the female population of vehicle technicians will have another one by the end of 2028.
Mean while I've been back to college over the last 18 months and gained my IMI Level 3 and 4 qualifications in Electric Vehicle repairs, maintenance and diagnostics. Read more
