Vauxhall Astra Diagnostic Inspection. Initial run up, idling fine. No codes. No damp around coil pack. No miss fire when wiggling injector cables. Road test to get hot.

Toyota Prius Car Won't Start Inspection. Aux Battery at 11.3v. battery removed and trickle charged over night. Refit battery, run up, road test. Engine runs and charges at 14.1v. system checked for current draw.. 0.02 amps constant.

Time has passed by with Gordon's Autos (Southern) collecting customers in Southampton, Cambridge and Camberley during various stages of my Army career. My Wife and I have settled down to live in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It is from here that Gordon's Autos will create another collection of customers and continue a family tradition of vehicle maintenance at affordable prices for the new and not so new vehicles.
My son having completed his apprenticeship in the garage is now driving HGVs and a second apprentice who completed his training moved to a Volvo main agents. I had tried to retire and put my feet up but, the garage is now full steam ahead again having taken on my 3rd Apprentice. I will be running the garage for at least another 3 years while my new apprentice learns her trade. Yes the female population of vehicle technicians will have another one by the end of 2028.
Mean while I've been back to college over the last 18 months and gained my IMI Level 3 and 4 qualifications in Electric Vehicle repairs, maintenance and diagnostics. Read more
