didn't carry out any work knocked on a door and charged me 40 pounds the seller didn't live there should not charge this much in this situation disappointed, twice.

Hi leon im sorry your dissapointed that you was charged the £40 cancallation fee on this occasion.
But unfortunatley i had a 30 mile round trip to this job and also missed out on other potentional work i could of been doing instead.
I arrived on time to this job phoned you and discussed your options with you and you decided that you would wish to cancel knowing that it would cost you £40 to quote your own words "Better to loose £40 bruv than loose 5 grand this guys obviously worried about comebacks as otherwise why aint he selling the motor from his own gaff"
I even sat around waiting for half hour and did see the car pass by that came out from the backstreets away from this paticular estate.
I think on this occasion you had a lucky escape and made the right decision and i also feel it was fair for me to charge the cancellation fee as i had arrived at the address and it had cost me both time and money to make that trip and please bear in mind that i dont recive the full £40 i have comission to pay from that also income tax and NI contributions so by the time all this has been deducted along with the fuel etc i actually recieve alot less than the £40.
