Utterly shambolic crevice received from both the garage and ClickMechanic. I was telephoned half an hour before my appointment and asked to bring the car into the garage which wasn’t convenient for me to do. The mechanic turned up almost an hour late and after he completed the work, I noticed that he had not replaced the front and rear brake wear sensors despite this being part of the requested work and work that I had been charged for. Contacted ClickMechanic who weren’t interested and told me to open a case with the garage. I did this, they gave me some nonsense about asking me to bring the car into the garage because according to them my car had air suspension ( air suspension isn’t available in my vehicle). They agreed I’d been overcharged but they couldn’t issue the refund but they would ask ClickMechanic to do it. They haven’t so far despite me asking them several times myself. They bombard you with emails about all the services they offer but are strangely quiet if you have a problem. Stay away and book your car into your local garage yourself. Read more

Hi Huw. Thank you for your detailed review of our service although there are a few points I would like to make.

1. The technician was not late to your appointment the arrival window was between 10am and 12pm and as the tracker on his vehicle shows he was with you just after 11am.

2. Most newer Land Rovers, Discoveries and Rangerovers are available with air suspension this is one of the reasons we asked if the vehicle could come into the garage so it could be lifted all four wheels off the ground. We didn't see it was a base model discovery sport as its listed on our booking as a Discovery.


3. The other reason we asked if it could be brought in was that we were a technician and van down on that day due to illness I would like to point out that at no point did we ask YOU to bring it in we would have happily collected and delivered it back.

4. As soon as you messaged regarding the brake wear sensors this was a technician oversight they were not required and therefore should have been removed from the booking please be aware we don't quote these jobs click mechanic do. I have also asked click mechanic 3 times to do this as we have no access to their payment system and in all honesty have not received payment ourselves yet for your booking.

5. Are you having any issues with your new discs and pads? If not then I don't think your review is really factual. One star for quality no part of your review mentiones and issues with your brakes, Also one star for communication even though you have said that we contacted you prior to your booking taking place also doesn't seem to be factual. One star for punctuality even though we were well inside out 2 hour window also isnt factual.

6. If it helps you out instead of relying on clicks payment system for a refund I will happily refund you the difference for the brake wear sensor

7. Lastly I believe you mean shambolic service not crevice.
