The mechanic who turned up was on time and brought the car back in good time. I was happy with this. However - my tyre pressure light was still on after the car had been returned to me. It had been on prior to the mechanic collecting the car. I thought this would be rectified with the service but it wasn’t. Also I tried to wash my windscreen and my screen wash runs out.

I checked my service report and both these things should have been checked and my screen wash filled.

I sent a message to the mechanic who replied saying he had looked in to it and the screen wash had been filled and the tyres were filled to me manufactures recommendation and if there was a fault then this would mean it would need to go on the scanner which is not part of the normal service.


Now if that is the case then as part of the service then the garage should have phoned me while my vehicle was there to see if I wanted them to do this but I received no such phone call. I then had to fill the screen wash up myself to which I took photos of the washer being completely empty and sent these to the garage. No response from them.

The garage also said it was happy for me to bring my vehicle down to them for them to check the tyre pressure light and fill my screen wash. I have used ClickMechanic for its convenience as I am a full time working parent with limited free time and I loved the fact that I could have my car collected and dropped back to me.

I understand that sometimes things can get missed even though it shouldn’t during a service when my issues are raised are simple typical things checked! But i am completely insulted that the response from the garage was to lie and give me the response they did. ClickMechanic is more than welcome to look at the messages in my case between myself and the garage. I paid £150 for this service which is a lot of money and I should not have had these issues. I am also concerned now as to what else they’ve missed.

I gave the garage an opportunity but they gave a disappointing, highly insulting response. I do not recommend this garage and I will never use them again.

Sean..(hope ive that spelled right!) From Eastlake was brilliant in every way. First off all very courtuous and helpfull on my intial contact and did a brilliant job in the inspection off car itself and focused on certain areas I asked him to for, e.g-pan roof. Rang me after inspection and had had no bother answering the 6 million questions I had and also said to ring him back if anything else I forgot to run past him came up. Very happy customer 👍

Honestly I was disappointed with the classic tricks, trying to get the customer to pay more than what they'd intended. I was disappointed with the lateness and it seemed they took offence to me only wanting the original work done. Changing brakepads does not take 5.5 hours especially after being told to wait an hour by the pick up. Luckily my workplace is very tolerant of issues like this so there was no issue caused by an abrupt extension to working from home. I've used this garage before and was disappointed, the mechanic seemed so genuine last time he tried to fix a car on my drive. I'm afraid I can't recommend this service anymore.

Everything was sorted out well, even though the mechanics appeared to be having several factors beyond their control working against them! The car was delivered back the same day as promised, probably at significant inconvenience to the mechanics as it was late in the evening, as we had told them we had a doctors appointment first thing the next day.

All in all an excellent service, one star knocked off punctuality as the car was collected after the time promised (but I fully understand there were mitigating circumstances).

We were kept informed through the process.

In nearly 30 years of putting cars through the MOT, this year was absolutely the best! I did have my doubts about booking it online at first but the service was so good that I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

You are located 2 hours away from our garage this would inevitably impact on the estimated time of arrival to service your vehicle.

It was clearly highlighted that the eta of 10-12pm was unlikely to be met as the garage does not open untill 8.30am.

We requested a realistic eta but this was not provided to us.

As already highlighted this job was accepted as a special request by click mechanic.


Whilst on site the technician did a full diagnostic check on your vehicle free of charge to clear your engine management light and replaced a numberplate bulb for you.
