This was a large job on short notice just before a long trip, so my review has had to wait a bit. This means I can heartily recommend Kevin in the knowledge how the car has held up. He initially had us worried, because he arrived late due to an unforeseen remote callout, but I must emphasise that Kevin was apologetic, super courteous, and actually compensated us for the trouble and worry. He's an absolute gent for doing so without even a nudge from us. He also communicated well when it turned out that we did in fact need the timing chain changed over (he actually checked, before carrying out such an expensive job, which is much appreciated!). We got the car back and above and beyond fixing all that was requested, the car simply performs better than it has done over the past few years. Kevin clearly worked some magic, as the car steers and reacts more sharply and even runs more quietly. As expected with a timing chain change, it also seems to give slightly better and more accurate returns on fuel. Needless to say, we are very pleased with the quality of work. Four stars on punctuality merely explains that one on occasion might have to wait a little bit should Kevin find himself stuck by the roadside. He clearly takes pride in his job and ensures people are truly helped with his work. I'd certainly use him again. Read more

Kevin was helpful and knowledgeable and gave me important information on the car I was considering buying. He also gave good recommendations on what we should look at getting fixed on the car before we purchased it.

The mechanic was friendly and came within the time. Would be a nice touch to call ahead.
