Maz did a really good job. I didn't attend with him whilst he did the inspection however the feedback was great and was very happy with results from it. I then spoke to him later and he answers all my questions that I asked honestly. He sounded very polite and professional. Well worth paying for.

I was deeply unhappy with both the mechanics attitude , who refused to answer questions anmd I felt dealt with me in a very offhand way , also his punctuality it was supposed to be from 8am to 10am , he turned up at 10.30am . Also price we gave mne a cost of about £340 to replace the thermostat , I have since enquired with the main dealer who offered to collect the car anmd fix the thermostat for arounmd £250.

Explained what the problem was and answered all my questions. Although he was delayed arriving he did contact me to let me know what was happening which I appreciated. Polite chap.

Maz was a nice guy, and is probably a good mechanic for basic jobs. However he was unable to replace my brake discs due to stripping of the retaining screw (which i know nothing about). A standard garage would have the equipment to overcome this problem, however as a mobile mechanic unable to take my old discs off. If it had ended their i would not have any issues, however i was not allowed a refund from clickmechanic and was told i still had to pay labour and a parts surcharge even if Maz returned my car to its previous condition. This would have cost me over £60 to have a mobile mechanic come to my car and essentially tell me he didn't have the tools to do the job. When i contacted clickmechanic they advised that Maz may as well replace the pads as i will be charged the labour for it anyway, and that i would have to sort out the discs myself. So i have now payed £100 for new pads and still have to replace the discs (which was the whole reason i booked in the first place). I used clickmechnic as i thought it would be easy, professional, reasonably priced and less hassle. That could not be further from the truth. In the future i will be paying a little extra and going to a reputable garage. Mobile mechanics that cannot complete jobs because of the lack of tooling, then will not return the car to its original state without a crazy fee is a joke. Either do the job for the agreed price, or if you cant do the job thats fine, i will book with garage, dont hit me with a bill for half a job and tell me to sort the rest out myself. Read more
