Such a good and easy process. I booked in the morning and within a few hours the pre inspection had been carried out. I was sent contact information and details. Maz was great and kept me informed along the way. He rang once the inspection was completed and I had the written report within the hour.

Volkswagen Golf Diagnostic Inspection

MAZ was quick to attend and I paid the £72 for the ten minute diagnostic test.
DPF sensor needed replacing.
He quoted me £342...!!!!
I'm getting it done for £120 by a local mechanic.
No wonder he drives a 22 plate Audi Q8.
Therfore I am left with no option other than to suspect he is a bit of a rip off mechanic when he fancies his chances.
Shop around. I'm getting it done for one third of his quote!!
Reply from Maz:
Sorry to hear your concerns, you were charged for a genuine VW part not a cheap after market one that your garage is using especially looking at the price you are paying. The dpf gets up to 700 degrees so the temp sensor has to be of quality to withstand.
A little advice in advance, when it fails again shortly after get the genuine one at the price I quoted.

Hello, all was good, accurate on time. Only issue was the quality of the picture of diagnostic report.. kind of difficult to read.
Also the website doesn't let you zoom into pictures to make them more clear..
Other than that all was good. Appreciate the service and would definitely use you again in future..
