They were excellent, knew exactly how difficult the job was what was involved, very difficult changing the timing belt on my Land Rover Discovery, they collected and returned it when they said, very courteous and pleasant, I would highly recommend them, great job done.

I was given a quote of £262 all up to replace an alternator on a Citroen Picasso. I was not told the make and model number and I regrettably assumed I was being quoted a fair price. After they had finished the job I took the details and Googled the alternator they had fitted. Their mark up on this model was over 100%. It is widely available at between £96 and £133 online but I was charged £201 just for the item, before labour costs (which were reasonable at £61). I recommend people ask for the specific item reference beforehand so this can be queried. The Resolution Team would not consider a refund and said I had accepted the quote and that was that. Caveat emptor! An unhappy experience for which I take some blame. I won't be using Clickmechanic again. Joseph was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The reason he came ended up not being the reason for the problem and instead of just leaving he gave me advice and helped as much as he could within the realms of what he was allowed to do.

Joseph was all you could hope in a mechanic. Arrived early and was friendly and cheerful. The clutch he fixed seems to be good too.

The mechanic sent someone else to do the work, who were a couple of hours late. Nice friendly guys though. Because they weren’t that local, they check to see whether or not AA was correct, which it wasn’t. So I wasted their time and mine and still had to pay £40 for a job that couldn’t be done. I’m now have a local mobile mechanic coming to fix it.

Joseph and his colleague were great. I was worried about this job -- the problem was deep inside the engine of my old BMW. But they worked non-stop for over 2 hours and got it done, and the car is better than it has ever been, Great work.
