Michael was brilliant! He was courteous and efficient. My clutch was replaced within the agreed timescale and the job was done to a high standard. The price was good too!

Simon from Lansdown Motors was friendly and knowledgeable for the inspection.
He was later than expected ie originally due 12 to 2; he arrived 1.15pm. He did phone me about 12.30 to ask if he could take the Clio away for the inspection to which I agreed.
Pre-inspection I advised Simon there seemed to be an issue with changing gear 3rd to 2nd occasionally. He returned to verbally confirm the gear linkage moving from 3rd to 2nd gear was a possible problem. However this was not entered on the written inspection report.

I text Simon a couple of times to get a written comment that could be added to the report.

Only an inspection but Simon did adjust the key fob locking facility to unlock all doors on 2nd press.

Michael was polite and personable. Everything was explained in a clear and open way so I could understand without belittling me.

Allocated mechanic went down sick on day of appointment but I didn't find this out until I phoned half hour after the end of the two-hour slot I was given. I was told that someone else would be coming out as soon as they had finished the job they were on. This happened as promised and the job was quickly and efficiently done. People go sick, that can't be helped, but better communication would have been good though at least the job was done that day and got me back on the road so no complaints there. Would use again.
