If there were 10 stars to rate Edd Hunt's work, it wouldn't be enough.
The man is a legend! His dedication to his craft and knowledgeable advice in his written report notes and the follow-up phone call to ensure that I understood the significance of the findings, were matched only by his spectacularly intuitive ability to patiently communicate his technological knowledge to my low level of technical understanding.
I have had to teach technical concepts (and their interpretation) to others and I can say, without doubt, I never met anyone who could do this as well as he has demonstrated today.
No wonder he has won accolades.
I don't know him personally, never met him and no one paid any kind of inducement to say these things but when you come across excellence, especially when so many others are indifferent, this guy stands out..... just got to say it.

I honestly can't recommend Edd enough. Edd has been fantastic to deal with, keeping in touch with me through the whole process. Edd obviously loves his job and is very experienced. He completes more checks than are on the ClickMechanic check list and has provided the most comprehensive report I have received. I had over 40 photos of the car and nearly a page of notes on DTC checks and explaining notes made on the required checklist.
Edd kept in touch with timings throughout the day and gave me time to read the report before we chatted on the phone together about all the points.
I was worried about spending another lump of money on a report but that money has saved me from buying a car that had significant hidden engine and gearbox issues and more.
Edd stated that he does this work because of a friend's past experience buying a death trap of a car. It's obvious he really cares and wants to give you great service.
