One of the few things more terrifying than buying a car myself is supporting my son to buy one. On a limited budget in a limited timescale with zero knowledge of cars but great awareness that the used car market is a perilous jungle for inexperienced purchasers. Edd saved the day, saved my sanity, and enabled my son to purchase his car with confidence. Edd responded to our request to inspect a car at ridiculously short notice and at some distance from his base. He liaised with myself and the vendor, carried out the inspection in atrocious Englsh seaside weather and had an amazingly thorough report to me that evening. He was then willing patiently to talk me through all the stuff I did not understand on the phone the same evening well after he should have been putting his feet up with a pint. Edd's expertise, professionalism and manner was also noted by the vendor. We can not praise him enough. Our only sadness was that we could not fold him up and keep him in the glove compartment so we could use his wisdom daily. If I could give Edd 6 stars I would. Edd was brilliant. He inspected an Audi convertible A4 for me. He was incredibly professional and kept me informed from start to finish. The money I spent on the pre purchase inspection saved me £5,000 on buying a truly bad car with probably many thousands needed spending on it. Looking for a new car and will be using click mechanics services again. Hopefully this will week! Would never buy a car without using their services again.

With regards to the actual inspection, seemed thorough and highlighted some small issues that I wouldn't have thought about and photos helped.
