Mohammed is a super knowledgeable and professional mechanic. I am personally petrified of buying used Mercs after having a couple of bad experiences and I wanted to take the doubt out of this particular one I had my eye on.

Mohammed was thorough and his expertise showed through his communication with me after he had done the inspection. He went over and above, even managing to study the underside of the car and finding a problematic leak that had soaked the engine sump. He gave me some really sound advice on prices to put the car right and I eventually got sent through the pictures and report which he relayed to me on the phone before it was officially sent via email.

After this experience, I would go to Mohammed again and again for a pre-purchase inspection. He is friendly, his years in his field really shine through when he explains things and he is just a nice guy! Paying for a pre-purchase inspection and having someone as smart as Mohammed carrying it out means that I ended up walking away from a car that I thought was mint condition from nice photos and the MOT history but actually needed more than £2,500 worth of parts/labour to bring up to an acceptable condition.

I'd recommend anyone to get a pre-purchase inspection on a used car, especially if you're not entirely knowledgeable or mechanically apt to find and notice issues.
