First time using clickmechanic ! On my Merc A class 2020,I had a new engine light warning,initially I went to one of the renowned Mercedes specialists in the town and ran a diagnostics for 100 pounds ,I was informed that one of my glow plugs had an issue and that I needed to replace all four of the glow plugs along with glow plug relay and quoted me 794 pounds including labour and parts.I uploaded the full diagnostics report to ChatGpt as I don't know much about repairs,it specifically mentioned that there was no diagnostic detail to state that my glow plug relay was at fault and it was just one my glow plugs that had a minor fault. Fast forward,found clickmechanic- was assigned Mr.Ali from deal drive motors from Middlesbrough as my mechanic.I ignored the Ai report and did not mention it to him.The car was duly picked on time , initially quoted 550 pounds for the whole work, however I was informed that my glow plug relay had no issues ,only one of my glow plug had carbon remains, advised changing all four and boom he returned back 300 pounds and charged me only 256 pounds.Car was delivered back on time.Its been couple of weeks as Im writing this and its his honesty and work ethics that still shines bright along with his workmanship.Absolutely happy.
