Vauxhall Corsa Call out charge - customer did not have the locking wheel nut key to remove the wheels.

What a joke... Unable to complete the work as they didn't stock universal wheel nut keys but turned up and charged me £40 for doing nothing. No communication whatsoever beforehand or after in regards to the charge. Luckily my local garage could step in and complete the work without any hassle.
Clickmechanic also stated that I should be refunded and yet they will not refund. Another greedy company who doesnt care about its customers.
What an awful service.

Hi Robert,
We are sorry you feel this way, but as discussed in great detail with yourself the technicians can not be expected to carry locking wheel nuts or universal locking wheel nuts to remove customers wheels.
It is ultimately down to you the customer to have your own locking wheel nut as each one is different.
We hope you can learn from this as not having a locking wheel nut is a serious safety concern if you get a flat tyre on the motorway and can not remove the wheel to put your spare on.

Even though this was a last minute request where I needed someone to look at my car, JM Motor Services Ltd in Lancaster managed to get to Liverpool to check over the car and send the report back before the vehicle ended on Ebay. He had only a 5hr window.

Mechanic arrived right on time, he was very friendly and worked really quickly to replace front brake pads and discs and rear pads for over £100 cheaper than I was quoted. Would definitely use again.
