Communication was great!

I got a call after they accepted the job, just to confirm. They said it would be a few hours. The guy showed up on time to collect my car. I called the office after 4 hours, they said he was already on his way back, would be around 15-20 minutes or so. A different guy dropped it off around 15 minutes later. So, all good so far, on time and seem to be on the ball.

I don't drive often, so I took the car for a quick test drive straight away and everything seemed great. The issue was a passenger side lower ball joint with excessive play, and there was no knocking from the front any more, all good.

Next time I drove it though, there was a 'creaking' from the brakes when stopped at a red light on a slight downward slope, as if they were slipping a bit. Thought nothing of it at the time. Next time after that, I got a low brake fluid warning on the dash. Very weird, only had new discs, pads and fluid change in January. I looked at the brake fluid reservoir, it was empty. I went and looked at my brakes, the passenger side wheel and tyre was covered in what I'm guessing is brake fluid.

I had to get a lift to Halfords to buy some brake fluid to get me home, and now I've got to get a mechanic to have a look and see if it's leaking or damaged or what, no not feeling safe driving my car, so not happy at all, even though everything else seemed great. Read more

I'm happy with the work but the service log hasn't been signed and the warning sign for service due hasn't been turned off.

Couldn't fault from pick up to drop off.
Communication was great as was the service.

Good job done no complaint about the work ...however the 2 hour window was missed by a further 2 hours without communication
But overall Im pleased with the work and value for money

Daryl went above and beyond to sort the clutch on my van. A brilliant job done and it feels like a new vehicle now.
