The mechanic did half a job on Monday then claimed he wasn't strong enough to remove the calliper . He quoted me £220 for a new calliper . For my vehicle it is between £50 and £110 . Unknowingly i accepted this and agreed because i had no choice because I wanted my car up and running for him to come back on Wednesday and complete the work . The company removed £485 from my bank account and the mechanic never showed . I have been trying to contact you all day and have got absolutely nowhere . I want my money back and will be approaching trading standards to advise them of my horrific experience Im an OAP with a heart condition and needing bilateral hip replacement and it is cruel , dishonest and unprofessional for me to have my bank account emptied by Click Mechanic to give to a guy who never even bothered to show up . I have had to borrow money to take my car to a garage to get the work done professionally . What is wrong with you guys that you find this behaviour acceptable ? Obviously I have all the emails and proof that your mechanic took the money and didn't appear so my daughter will be contacting the bank tomorrow to have the funds removed if you still insist on keeping the money you did nothing for . Obviously the public review will detail accurately how badly I have been treated and the fact you have tried to keep the money without sending a mechanic ( albiet the one you sent had overpriced the calliper by between £100 and £140 ) . I was offered mediation instead of my £485 that you aren't entitled to which is just madness . You need to vet your mechanics better before taking money from customers . This has done so much damage to your credibility and the public reviews will detail exactly why . Excellent service with a great price. I mentioned it would be very helpful if I got my car back as quick as possible as I was going out shortly. My car was returned roughly within an hour and a half. Also, the price was £190.00 less than the RAC (even with me being member).
