The mechanic attended on time, barley looked at the car never checked under the bonnet, simply depressed the clutch pedal and move it in and out of gear then told me it needed a new clutch. I told him it had a new clutch master and slave just 15000 miles ago mid 2023. He was not interested in any further inspection. Later sent a quote for a clutch. It has transpired that the car has a separate Reservoir for the clutch master, it was empty. The cause of this is being further investigate but after filling the clutch resovoir it is working as expected. It very much felt that his only interest was maximising his return with the most expensive option. Having paid £70 for a poor and incorrect diagnosis i very much feel aggrieved at the service and doubt the mechanics trustworthiness and or competence. Really dissapointed.
