I started my career with Kwik-Fit when I was 16 for a number of years understanding the trade. I moved to work for a few independent garages for around 4 years before working with Vauxhall for 3 years and subsequently Ford for 5. I worked for a company to do engine rebuilds and head gaskets for a period before setting-up my own mobile mechanic business in 2016. The business caters for all makes and models of vehicle and works on all repairs, although with my vast experience in both Vauxhall/Ford I would consider these as my speciality.

Experience totally negative, both as regards the repair work and with regards to customer assistance offered by clickmechanic. At the end of January 2020, the clutch broke down and I was convinced by the website that ensured the work and the spare parts under warranty. I proceeded to book the repair. The new clutch only worked for a few miles and the clutch bearing started to make a loud noise because of the C19 I used the car very little just 750 miles in total and because of the noise I called the mechanic again to resolve the warranty case , I was forced to repay the same amount again because according to him the defective clutch had to be returned to his supplier in order to have compensation so it would have entailed having the car disassembled on the road for more than 4 weeks which was unacceptable to anyone, called clickmechanic I heard that the warranty clause was at the mechanic's discretion; in the final phase you Clickmechanic as guarantors of a service you are also responsible because you publish false information, if the interventions are under warranty, when as in my case it is evident a malice due to a defective part there can be no excuse for not carrying out the repair according to the terms set out on your site by downloading as in your response to a direct mechanical customer relationship because you site guarantors of what you publish and take a profit from the customer service, in fact I paid you to get the first repair of my car. Every one use this service can have a potential issue like me if there is a failure on the spare part supplied no warranity at all no support at all. I would like to underline that: Being a supplier of works and parts, the mechanic must answer for the temporary cost of the defective part replaced also because it makes a profit on the supply of spare parts which are used to compensate for any problems as in my case. I paid to have the car repaired with parts warranty already from the first intervention, which are supplied by the mechanic under his direct guarantee, in fact I cannot able to claim on mechanic car pats supplier for testing and direct compensation, therefore the mechanic must answer for the guarantee of the parts and the work of implementation. He was very good at communicating with me and organising a return visit to finish the job.
He was very apologetic and prompt with admitting what he had done.
