Open and Honest - Arrived at 8am when stated between 8 and 10. Very prompt which was good. Immediately looked at what I had been told by a separate mechanic, stated that I didn't have any faults to indicate what I was told was the issue. He showed me that the engine didn't have any fault codes. Took the car for a test drive and returned, he told me clearly that the car didn't need the work. Only charged me for an hour's diagnostic work even when I tried to give him more due to him travelling a good 2 hours to get to me. He could have just undertaken the work and I would have been none the wiser but instead decided to do the right thing and be honest. Clearly an absolute pro when it comes to Range Rovers. In the time it took my local Land Rover to even call me back about the issue and to book something in, he'd confirmed the booking, driven up, and fitted the new part.

Self diagnosed cam belt issue, but was advised it was alternator. Which he had as spare, car was fixed and repaired in no time. Great job.
