Issue: Car does not start. We booked the appointment on friday afternoon for a mechanic to come to the car on ssaturday morning. He was on time and called before arriving to make sure we could meet him. RAC ran a report a few days prior to the mechanics visit where it was determined that the issue may be due to a defect fuel pump. This was replaced prior to the ClickMechanics visit. We provided the mechanic with the report and the diagnostics but he was not interested and ran the exact same report again only to tell us that the oil level is a little bit too high and that the engine is a bit dirty. He left without the engine starting. Seemed very disinterested other than leaving. Not at all what i had experienced in the previous visit of adifferent CklickMechanic. very disappointed. Read more

Hi the job that came to me was to check why your engine was not starting properly.
I came and first thing i did was check the battery current and that was low so i jump-leaded it and the engine still didn't run it was vibrating but didn't run so i did a diagnostics and found 3 faults: cam sensor, throttle body and some other fault. i have a copy of this on my diagnostics machine. i cleared the faults and then i did the diagnostics again after I STARTED THE CAR, the results was that the issue was a cam shaft sensor, i stopped the engine and checked the oil level IT WAS TOO HIGH. This is the CAUSE OF ALL THE PROBLEM.
I opened the throttle body cover AND SHOWED YOU HOW DIRTY IT WAS FROM INSIDE! so now you said the engine didn't start . Its a shame to be a liar. You said i didn't start the engine . Its not the engine that is dirty its the throttle body that is dirty ALL THIS IS CAUSED BECAUSE THE OIL LEVEL IS TOO HIGH! I explained this to you and you didn't want to believe this. It is not my fault if you changed a thing that didn't need to be changed. please be fair when you place a feed back.
