The mechanic was friendly and knowledgeable, although he had never actually worked on my type of car before. He was earlier than expected, but phoned and asked if it was ok to come early, which was ok.
The only issue I had was with the scope of work passed down to him, although he came prepared anyway. I had a full service booked and my car has 3 cylinders but 6 spark plugs. However the work passed to him was only to change 3 spark plugs, which was all that was costed for. Why would you do that - that should be looked at for future reference? Although a fixed price job he had to charge extra for the 3 additional spark plugs, which luckily he had brought with him in case. The Smart manual recommends to remove the rear bumper to replace the spark plugs but he managed to find a way to do it without taking the bumper off, which was good. Read more
