I had booked for a clutch replacement, every garage I'd called to have a look at it to confirm if it was an issue with the clutch kept saying to just replace it because of the work it takes to look at it. The mechanic arrived on time and immediately from the leak under my car said it was probably my cylinder and not the clutch. He took the car away and called me to confirm it was both the master cylinder and the slave cylinder, and that the clutch was fine. I was impressed because I can imagine a less honest person would have just added additional repairs and charges and changed the clutch anyway! These guys were amazing and only did what needed doing and adjusted my booking accordingly, saving me half my original quote! I'd highly recommend them, they were very responsive on messages and called to keep me informed and brought my car back all sorted 👏🏾 👏🏾.

Nissan Qashqai Timing chain replacement

The car seems to be working OK but not a lot was said in regards to what work was carried out and if there are any recommendations. The mechanic was friendly but was told I would not get my car back on the same day and was not told when I would get my car back.

Your vehicle was booked through ClickMechanic for a timing chain replacement, so the work required had already been selected and agreed when the booking was made.
During the repair, we also contacted you to explain that we needed to keep the vehicle overnight for technical reasons. The silicone sealant applied around the oil sump requires sufficient curing time (around 24 hours) to properly seal and achieve the strength needed to withstand engine oil pressure and heat. Releasing the vehicle earlier could risk leaks or further issues, which we always try to avoid.
Our priority is to complete repairs properly and safely, even if that means allowing additional time for certain components to cure or settle.
As a general recommendation, we always advise keeping up with regular maintenance and servicing with professional garages to help keep your vehicle running reliably and prevent future problems.
We appreciate your feedback and are pleased to hear the car is now working well.

Honda Jazz Clutch replacement

Guy who picked car up was very friendly but did not introduce himself so I don't know if he was the macanic or not
So far car is working well but I have no receipt for the work or no proof of warranty that would make a nice difference so hope that is to follow.
