Mechanic seemed friendly but didnt know how to diagnose the problem with car. Still waiting for next step needed

Friendly and efficient, just what I was looking for. Work carried out was quick and to the point. Happy with the service and job done

We were expecting the mechanic between 8am and 10am on Monday morning. A driver arrived at 3pm to drive the car away to a garage. ~We were expecting the job to be carried on on the driveway as it was a catalytic converter replacement which I had been told from elsewhere that it should take 1-2 hours and was accessible from the engine.. I explained to the driver that I needed the car back before 11am the following day. Later that day I had confirmation before 5pm that the job was complete. Expecting the car to be returned early on the Tuesday morning, I ran at 11am to be told it would be back by 1pm, after explaining that it was urgent the driver (not the mechanic) returned the car at 11. 50am. I am sure the work was carried out successfully and competently and I have no complaint over this, but communication would have been welcome, and honestly as when booking the repair, it gives the impression that it would be repaired on my drive. I would suggest that the click mechanic website was clearer and that the garages that 'bid' for the job were clear in that the car would be repaired at a garage - in my case over 15 miles away. Very happy with the mechanic and give me good advise about what needed doing with my car saved me getting small jobs done when I would be better to get new engine

Excellent service, collected my car from my home address which was great for me and delivered it back. Exceeded expectations in how long the work took to complete. He was fantastic explained everything, Anhar told me he would write up a quote for me to have my car fixed & would take my car & drop it back off home when it’s fixed still waiting on the quote but so far so good, told him I wanted the car fixed & a service at the same time which I’m so pleased about, hope to hear from him soon as I don’t have a car at the min 😩

Anhar was very communicative and provided me with video proof of the new parts been fitted. The process was super easy, just handing my keys over and Anhar taking the car to the garage to complete the work and then bringing it back. I would recommend Anhar and the Miah Drive Garage.
