I have had a dreadful experience with the mechanic and ClickMechanic's limited response.
I paid for a clutch to be fitted, and after over four months of wrangling, my car was independently inspected. It was found that a new clutch had NOT been fitted and that the vehicle had been damaged on the third visit to the mechanic.
The matter has been reported to the police.
Please note that in such circumstances Clickmechanic will not offer any assistance beyond 'chasing' the mechanic. They will not refund (unless your credit card company will refund) nor offer any compensation.
If you are fortunate to engage an excellent mechanic then the service will work, but if you have a poor quality (or malevolent mechanic) then your ability to challenge is very limited unless you go through the courts.
Overall this process has cost me in excess of £2k in terms of the losses incurred via this fraudulent activity, and this doesn't include the cost of a new clutch. Read more

Had gotten a quote from a mainstream garage which was triple the price on Click Mechanic. The Work was carried out quickly and efficiently. Communication was good and now the noises have disappeared.

I recently had new brake pads and discs installed, but I was not made aware that there would be an additional charge of £160 for brake sensors. As a result, I opted to have the sensors addressed by a local garage during my next service. During that service yesterday, I inquired about the sensors and was informed that they were functioning properly and simply needed to be reconnected. This situation raises concerns, as I could have incurred unnecessary expenses.

Cammy and Daniel kept me well informed of the time of pick up and drop off of the motorhome as well as the service and replacement of the rear brakes. The only problem that could be rectified with the site is for the choice to stipulate whether the brakes are for shoes or pads as this was not available when I used the site for the first time.
I would recommend click mechanic to my friends and hopefully they would be assigned to the same mechanic.

Car was picked up nice and early , no communication through the day , and when car was brought back , all my questions were answered, mechanic even told me of possible other issue, to keep an eye on it .
Happy with quick booking/carry out of repair . Got an interim car service but did notice ( if it’s included) screen wash not topped up . But happy I no longer have warning light in dashboard .

Yes I was very happy with the mechanic. The work was carried out to a high standard. I estimate that getting the work done at a Honda dealer would have cost at least a third more. I will definitely use Click Mechanic.com again.
