Mechanic 'Jose' did a great job: punctual, efficient, fast and what looks to be very good work (he changed all four brake pads in about 75mins with no issues following my brief test drive. Very impressive. I recommend Jose.

Jose was good, however I didn't realise that he would have the car for over 8 hours.
Having said the above, when the car was returned it did seem more quiet and drove more smoothly.
Therefore can't fault his work.

Overall, I’m satisfied with the work carried out — the mechanic was professional and the job itself was completed properly.

However, I’m disappointed with the parts that were used. The brake pads fitted were a budget option, and I was not given a choice or informed beforehand. For my vehicle (a van), braking performance is extremely important, and I would have been more than willing to pay extra for higher-quality, premium brake pads.

In the future, I would strongly prefer to be consulted on parts selection, especially for safety-critical components like brakes.
