Darren was doing a pre-purchase inspection of an ebay purchase in my absence. I was surprised to find the report in my inbox the evening before the scheduled appointment, so I rang Darren in case there had been some confusion but he had simply taken the initiative to ring the vendor on the off-chance he would be free earlier, which he was. I was therefore able to discuss the inspection in more detail with Darren and I got the impression he had a wealth of experience and knowledge together with being very friendly. I am based in London but if anyone is in the Nottingham area I would have no hesitation in recommending Darren, and for a pre-purchase inspection I would similarly recommend ClickMechanic as a very cost-effective solution.

Darren was really good. He explained what he had done and showed me the parts he had replaced. He even gave me really good advice about a separate problem. He also came back to look at the car when it appeared to leak water after the job had been completed. He made sure everything was ok.
