When booking a electrical mechanic, I had hoped the person would be able to identify my problems. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. He originally arrived late on Thursday, I didn't mind that, then left early saying he would be back on Monday morning with a battery. believing that was where the fault lay. On Monday, he phoned to say he would be late, and when he did arrived he hadn't brought a battery with him. He then announced, it wasn't the battery issue, but a wire fault from the ECU unit to the computer socket. He spent most of the next hour trying to find the problem. I queried the costing of the visit, not feeling much confidence of what I was watching. I then called a halt to the proceedings, after he bow the main fuse to the Dashboard. I was not convinced he would be able to fix my car. When paying £45 /hr , I expected the mechanic to show more knowledge of the problem, rather clutching at straws .
It was a shame really, he was nice man, well mannered and Polite, I would have loved for him to have identified my problem.... Read more

Quickly identified the fault. Offered to quote to repair though on further investigation was unable to as the vehicle is too new to enable parts to be sourced
