The mechanic come out to check the engine oil light. He was late arriving at 1pm when he had told me he would be much earlier in the morning. He hadn’t bothered to even turn up to the first appointment when I originally made the booking and told me he had done a check on engine light and came up with critical fault and car needed a whole new engine.

This has proven to be completely false. I’ve spent £2000 for parts and thankfully I went to a different garage who were honest enough to know that this wasn’t in fact correct. The new garage was decent enough to check everything and said the mechanic from click mechanic is a joke and nothing wrong with the engine. The only issue is a failed turbo. I have wasted fortune on something I believed was in good faith. My car has been in a garage for 5 week on the belief it needed new engine and this has meant I’ve had to take trains and taxis to and from work. I want a refund for the services of click mechanic which has proven to be completely false. How these mechanics can get away with that is unbelievable. Another less honest garage could have charged me over £3000 for a new engine I never needed to begin with.
This mechanic needs investigated as he is either negligent or a scammer. Read more

Arrived early, friendly and got on with the job that was quoted at a reasonable price!

He was friendly and knowledgeable, I was very happy with the work done and has helped in giving some advice.

Once the diagnostic was plugged in I was told glow plugs, then maybe wiring to them, then maybe battery terms.
Asked for a quote to fit new glow plugs, then was told after a phone call its the timing chain. So still Not 100% sure exactly what needs doing.
Would of liked a solid answer .
Complete waste of money.
