£80 for a 6 minute visit. Had to follow up and message mechanic myself, this was Ignored and still not received a quote for repair

Apologies you are unhappy. You have paid for your vehicle to be diagnosed where it’s leaking from. Due to our very experienced mechanics we were able to swiftly establish where the leak is coming from, we also made you aware that this job cannot be carried out via our mobile service and would require engine work whilst on the ramp. Pictures were provided and an exact description of what to be told to repair was given and understood. What you are unhappy about is the short time it took us to complete the work for the standard rate of £80 for a diagnostic inspection. Once we diagnose your vehicle and make it clear to you what the fault is our work is completed and we are not there to waste your time or ours longer then need be. We are flat out busy due to our professionalism and ability to quickly diagnose issues and carry out repairs at a professional standard as we have been for years. If you had opened the bonnet it would have clearly been visible where the oil was leaking from and you it wouldn’t have had to pay £80 for us to attend and inspect. Read more
