Didn't actually meet the mechanic however all the comms through Claire was timely and helpful. They DID indeed carry out the work in a timely manner albeit missing my deadline which I did resolve.
Whilst I really like the ClickMechanic process I think it fair to also add some criticism of the way things are laid out. The booking slots which are 2hourly slots are fine BUT it asks 'when is the car available' and NOT 'the pick up time will be between these hours' When I advised in my booking the car was available between 0800-1200hrs (a 4 hr slot) I didn't anticipate the car not being collected until 1015. This put stress n the requirements for the return of the car which in turn added pressure to the mechanic. It needs clearer understanding of WHAT the time slots are actually for ( I was advised the slots were to PICK UP the car between these hours?) and not that the car will be done in that time!
