Fiat Grande Punto Diagnostic Inspection

Tariq at first asked if I can deliver the car to him, disappointing. Then he arrived on time. Checked the car and drove to halfords, I still don't know the reason as there wasn't any repair done. Then he wanted to charge me extra for the diagnostic test which I refused. I was said what needs to be fixed but I wasn't happy about the overall service. Not the best experience for the first time using ClickMechanic.

Hi Piotr,
In regards to you experience, I'm really sorry you feel this way but in all fairness you paid for me to diagnose your fault not rectify upon my inspection I explained to you it is more then likely your clock spring needs replacing and to confirm this I would have to carry out a electrical test which would be a slightly more charge but would confirm the fault as I am unable to carry out a repair unless I am certain what the issue is to save you money and me time, further more this was carried out at no extra cost. Fiat quoted £249.99 +VAT for the part but I showed you the same part on Ebay for £39.
99 but as you are within your right you declined for me to carry on the repair. In all fairness I believe I did as much as I possibly could to help rectify this issue I do apologise you felt differently if I can be of any assistance in the future please do not hesitate to contact me.

they were able to diagnose the problem with the van . left vehicle with them and they called back about half hour later .. did what i asked and hopefully problem is soon to be resoved

Ford Focus Plug-in Diagnostic Inspection

Aqib arrived early and immediately got to diagnosing the issue, explaining what he was doing as he went. He was very knowledgeable and gave great advice on what I should do with the car moving forward, he even went the extra mile to offer his backing as the mechanic who diagnosed the problems with my car.

Peugeot 208 Tyre fitting

The service was terrible- I have a flat tyre- the mechanic was on the drive for 2 minutes- he could not find locking nuts remover and charged me £141.16 – I still have a flat tyre and I am £140 out of pocket for nothing- rip off.

Hi Gail,
I'm sorry you feel this way. I had travelled a round journey of 40 miles to assist you on getting back on the road and arriving a day sooner soo no inconvenience is caused to yourself, upon arriving you could not find your locking wheel nut even with my help there was no sign of it I then suggested I could break the bolt but will cause soke cosmetic damage to your rim and only a last resort again I do apologise you feel this way but I believe I have tried my best also you're wheel locking nut is your responsibility and not mine. I did go out my way to offer you a option of if you found the wheel locking nut I will be willing to come back at no cost and do the job, which I believe is more then reasonable.
