Peugeot 3008 Crossover Alternator replacement

I am not happy, the job is done but the error still shows on the dashboard. He advises i go to Peugeot to get it cleaned out.
Also, my battery is flat, I advise we go get a battery to be sure it is working fine, he said I have to get another technician to do that. So what is the essence of spending over £1,000 with no guarantee or assistance whatsoever.
I just pray he did a good job once I get a battery and drive it around for days.

Hi Taiwo,
I'm sorry I couldn't spend any more time with your car. I was booked in to replace your alternator which I did. Your car battery was completely dead the only way to check my work was to use my own vehicle battery to start and check your car. When checking the charging voltage the new alternator was displaying 14.44-14.5 volts which is exactly where it should be with a new alternator. I understand you have paid out alot but the majority of the bill was on your car part. The alternator was £780 alone. And the price generated on the quote is produced by click mechanic. I do not control the quote price unless it's is to update a part.
And I do not get paid £1000 for the job. Unfortunately with your battery being so flat I was unable to jump start your car. This is caused by the vehicle being driven with a defective alternator, which again is out of my control. I advised you as best I could as to what to do next. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to drive around pick up a battery drive back to you and fit it. This is an extra service and would incur an extra charge. The faults on the dash where there before I worked on the car. I attempted to clear the faults but there where non stored in the engine computer or the transmission computer so I was unable to remove the fault. I also advised you as best I could with that and spent roughly an extra hour on the job to clear the faults and get you mobile again. Unfortunately I exhausted every option i had available today and was unable to get you mobile. I hope you manage to get a new battery or charge your current one sorry I couldn't be of more help

Lee was on time and fixed the car properly. (Passed MOT) Didn't speak much but he did show me, and explain my brake pad problem. (Poor man had to work in miserable weather so kind of glad he didn't want me outside for a chat.) Price was also only £4.00 more than other places and that included "next day priority slot"
